Lisa Barnard, Co-Founder

Lisa Barnard was the Co-Founder and Original Director for Lightning Lacrosse.   She brought a wealth of knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to the club, teams, players, coaches and families.   It was Lisa’s goal to start a club that would provide players the opportunity to reach their full potential.  Before her passing in late 2020, she was able to see the club grow dramatically in it’s second year and was very happy with the progress all of the players and teams were making on and off the field.

In her honor, Lightning Lacrosse provides a scholarship, in Coach Barnard’s name, to players within the club who exemplify her amazing qualities as a player on and off the field. For more information on the Lisa Barnard Memorial Scholarship, please CLICK HERE
