Tryout Information:

For Boys and Girls going into 3rd-12th Grade – your Lacrosse player will play for one of our Premier/Travel Teams. Some younger players may be invited to play in our developmental program. 
Premier/Travel Teams are formed in the fall of each year.  However we also have additional tryouts throughout the year at all of our locations.

DEVELOPMENT:

Lightning players will receive high quality coaching.  A typical year for Lightning Lacrosse is: Fall: Teams are formed, practices, stick skills sessions, and at least one tournament. Winter: Optional indoor tournaments. Spring: Off for school seasons. Summer: Practices, stick skills, and at least 3 tournaments. Players may join throughout the year if there is a roster spot open.  If you want to reach your full potential, this is the place to be.

EXPOSURE:

Lightning teams and players will play in the top college recruiting events across the Midwest.  And, players/parents will receive important information about the recruiting process to find the best college fit for each player.

FUN:

Lightning teams are a LOT of fun!  It’s an important part of the development process.  We believe that creating a fun environment for our players help us develop a love for the game and a love to improve every day.   If you love what you are doing the sky is the limit!
